GreyScape

It isn't all grey you'll find here; the scapes I'll paint come in various colours. There'll be Redscapes, Bluescapes and Greenscapes. I might even dream up Purple- and Yellow- scapes.

GreyScape's just the world I'm trying to escape even if it is for just a short while. It's the dull world commonly known as "real life", it's the world we all wake up to every morning. Not that there is anything wrong with that world - or maybe there is but then nothing is perfect - but sometimes it just becomes to much and when it does I like to get away from it and hide in my own world.

So this site is nothing more than a tour of my imagination. A virtual world where there are no boundaries except the ones I impose upon myself. (And then there are the ones computer hard- and soft- ware force upon me, but I try to work my way around those whenever possible.)

I'm also planning on putting up a section where I paint my pictures with words, but right now I seem to be suffering from a terrible thing called "writers block" so don't expect that to be up anytime soon. "Writers block?" you might ask. I suppose it has something to do with my self-fulfilling prophecy; every time I sit down to work on this site little voices in my head keep telling me I'll never get it online.

Does this sound crazy to you? Try walking in my shoes for a while. I didn't name this site Greyscape for no reason. It's the landscape I live my life in and no matter which direction I take I always end up where I started. Like a dog chasing it's tail I go round in circles and at the end of the day I realize once more: "This is not where I want to be."

But this time I'm going to prove them wrong. I'm down to the final details and when I'm done I'll put it up there for the world to see. That'll shut them up!!!
